Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 each Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 each Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 each Medium Yellow Onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • to taste Jalapeños, sliced
  • to taste Hot Sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they become translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute.
  4. Increase the heat to high, add sliced beef sirloin, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned.
  5. Add sliced bell peppers and sauté for an additional 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low, sprinkle cheese over the mixture, cover, and let it melt for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Stir the mixture to combine the melted cheese with the beef and vegetables. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can use a freezer-safe container for longer storage.
