- 1 pound Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 each Red Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 each Green Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 each Medium Yellow Onion, sliced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- to taste Jalapeños, sliced
- to taste Hot Sauce
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they become translucent.
- Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute.
- Increase the heat to high, add sliced beef sirloin, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned.
- Add sliced bell peppers and sauté for an additional 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, sprinkle cheese over the mixture, cover, and let it melt for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir the mixture to combine the melted cheese with the beef and vegetables. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can use a freezer-safe container for longer storage.
