Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (4 lb) turkey breast (organic preferred)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub the softened butter all over the turkey and season it with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, thyme, sage, and minced garlic. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure to cover it well.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth around it.
  5. Roast the turkey in the oven for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey occasionally with the juices in the pan.
  6. Once done, let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Make sure the turkey breast is at room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer for best results.
