- 1 (4 lb) turkey breast (organic preferred)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub the softened butter all over the turkey and season it with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, thyme, sage, and minced garlic. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure to cover it well.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth around it.
- Roast the turkey in the oven for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey occasionally with the juices in the pan.
- Once done, let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Make sure the turkey breast is at room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer for best results.
