Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and yeast. Add the eggs, melted butter, and warm milk. Knead the mixture until it’s smooth.
- Let It Rise: Cover the dough with a damp cloth and place it in a warm spot for about 60 minutes. The dough should double in size.
- Shape Your Donuts: After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface. Use a donut cutter to cut out donut shapes.
- Heat the Oil: In a deep pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry Donuts: Carefully fry each donut for about 1-2 minutes per side or until they are golden brown. Drain them on paper towels.
- Glaze or Dust: While the donuts are still warm, dust them with powdered sugar or dip them in your favorite glaze before serving.
