A creamy, spicy dip that combines cream cheese, shredded cheese, and pickled jalapenos for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos, chopped
- 1 tbsp jalapeno brine
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon or chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.
- Mix the softened cream cheese with mayonnaise or sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, and salt and pepper.
- Scoop the mixture into a baking dish and top with extra cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until hot and bubbly, broil for 1-2 minutes if desired.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For better texture, soften cream cheese properly, and consider using jalapeno brine for added tang. This dip can be made ahead and baked when guests arrive.
