- 4 cups Fresh Corn Kernels (from about 6–8 ears)
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese (preferably freshly grated)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Peel husks and remove silk from the corn. Slice down the cob to release kernels into a bowl.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy.
- Add corn to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly golden.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir, simmering for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Gradually add shredded Parmesan, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh corn when in season. Can substitute with frozen corn. Adjust garlic and Parmesan to preference.
