A simple and delicious homemade coleslaw dressing that elevates any salad with fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Celery salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 dash Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add one cup of mayonnaise.
  3. Pour in two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
  4. Add one tablespoon of granulated sugar.
  5. Sprinkle in one teaspoon of celery salt.
  6. Add half a teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.
  7. Using a whisk, combine all the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
  8. Taste and adjust the flavor as needed.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Stir well before using to dress your shredded cabbage and carrots.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain yogurt. Adjust the amounts of vinegar and sugar to cater to your taste preference. Experiment with adding herbs like dill or parsley for an extra flavor boost.
