- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups (330 g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 2 cups (340 g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Press the dough into a parchment-lined 9×13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 22–28 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Chilling the dough before baking helps achieve a chewy texture.
