Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 1/2 cups dry spiral pasta
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons A1 Steak Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
Instructions
- Break up the ground beef in a big skillet over medium-high heat and stir until browned.
- Add the diced bell pepper and onion, and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Drain extra fat, then add the onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, and steak seasoning; toss to coat.
- Add the dry spiral pasta, followed by the whole milk, tomato sauce, A1 Steak Sauce, and beef broth; ensure noodles are covered.
- Bring to a slow bubble, then reduce heat and cover with a lid.
- Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles soften and sauce thickens.
- Stir in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese until melted, then scatter the remaining cheese on top and cover again to melt.
- Serve hot directly from the pan.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese. You can substitute any pasta and adjust cooking times as needed.
