  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups dry spiral pasta
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons A1 Steak Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground beef

Instructions

  1. Break up the ground beef in a big skillet over medium-high heat and stir until browned.
  2. Add the diced bell pepper and onion, and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Drain extra fat, then add the onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, and steak seasoning; toss to coat.
  4. Add the dry spiral pasta, followed by the whole milk, tomato sauce, A1 Steak Sauce, and beef broth; ensure noodles are covered.
  5. Bring to a slow bubble, then reduce heat and cover with a lid.
  6. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles soften and sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese until melted, then scatter the remaining cheese on top and cover again to melt.
  8. Serve hot directly from the pan.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese. You can substitute any pasta and adjust cooking times as needed.
