Description

A simple and protein-friendly gelatin recipe designed to satisfy cravings while supporting weight loss efforts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box sugar free flavored gelatin (0.3 oz)
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin (or about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 to 1.5 cups protein drink (vanilla recommended)
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon or lime, or a few berries for flavor

Instructions

  1. Stir flavored sugar free gelatin into the hot water until fully dissolved.
  2. Sprinkle in the unflavored gelatin and stir well to avoid lumps.
  3. Add the cold water and stir.
  4. Let it cool on the counter for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Whisk in your protein drink gently and pour into a glass dish.
  6. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours until set and slice into cubes.

Notes

Do not add the protein shake while the mixture is still hot to avoid grainy texture.
