Description
Delicious cookies that balance bright, tart cranberries with creamy white chocolate, perfect for holiday baking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (165 g) packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups (360 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 8 ounces (about 1 1/2 cups) white chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
- Use a tablespoon scoop to portion dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes to reduce spread, if desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
Notes
Chilling the dough improves texture and reduces spread. Use a 1-tablespoon scoop for uniform cookies.
