Description

Tender and slightly chewy cookies studded with sweet white chocolate and tart dried cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate and dried cranberries.
  6. Chill the dough for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Scoop 1.5 tablespoon balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  9. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill the dough for at least 20 minutes in warm kitchens to prevent spreading. Store baked cookies in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep them soft.
