Description

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente, according to package instructions.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden and fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving a bit of cooking water.
  5. Toss the al dente pasta in the skillet with the garlic oil, adding reserved pasta water as needed to moisten.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
