Description

An easy, showy snack that mixes crunchy popcorn with smooth white chocolate and festive sprinkles, perfect for parties and gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup kernels before popping)
  • 8 oz (225 g) white chocolate chips or chopped couverture
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (coconut or vegetable)
  • Red sugar crystals
  • 12 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberry powder
  • Heart sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Remove any unpopped kernels from the popped popcorn.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and neutral oil in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler in 20-30 second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  3. Toss the popcorn in a large bowl and pour the melted chocolate over it, folding quickly to coat.
  4. Optionally, spread popcorn on a parchment-lined sheet for drizzling.
  5. Immediately sprinkle with red sugar crystals, freeze-dried strawberry powder, and heart sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to firm up.

Notes
