- 1/3 cup strawberry preserves
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions
- Bake the strawberry cake mix according to the package directions in a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Cool the cake completely, then crumble into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping and warmed strawberry preserves.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries, then stir in the cake crumbs.
- Transfer to a serving dish, chill for at least 1 hour, and garnish with sliced strawberries before serving.
