- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try using garlic powder or your favorite herbs. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
