Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt (fine grain)
  • 1620 oz filtered water
  • Fresh lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • Cucumber slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large glass with 16-20 oz of room temperature filtered water.
  2. Measure out 1/4 teaspoon of fine pink Himalayan salt.
  3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice and strain out seeds.
  4. If using honey, have it ready for sweetness.
  5. Add the pink salt to your water first and stir vigorously for 30 seconds until completely dissolved.
  6. Add fresh lemon juice and stir again.
  7. If using honey, add it last and mix thoroughly.
  8. Drink this mixture first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, waiting 15-30 minutes before eating breakfast.

Notes
