- 16–20 oz filtered water
- Fresh lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
- A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
- Cucumber slices (optional)
Instructions
- Fill a large glass with 16-20 oz of room temperature filtered water.
- Measure out 1/4 teaspoon of fine pink Himalayan salt.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice and strain out seeds.
- If using honey, have it ready for sweetness.
- Add the pink salt to your water first and stir vigorously for 30 seconds until completely dissolved.
- Add fresh lemon juice and stir again.
- If using honey, add it last and mix thoroughly.
- Drink this mixture first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, waiting 15-30 minutes before eating breakfast.
Notes
Ensure you use fine pink Himalayan salt for proper dissolution. It’s recommended to prepare this fresh each morning for the best results.
