Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef tips (chuck roast or sirloin tip)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef tips in a skillet over medium heat to develop flavor.
  2. Transfer the browned beef tips to the slow cooker.
  3. Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the mixture over the beef tips in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  6. If desired, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes for thick gravy.
  7. Let the dish rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For thicker gravy, adjust with cornstarch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
