- 2 pounds beef tips (chuck roast or sirloin tip)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the beef tips in a skillet over medium heat to develop flavor.
- Transfer the browned beef tips to the slow cooker.
- Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the beef tips in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes for thick gravy.
- Let the dish rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For thicker gravy, adjust with cornstarch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
