- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Lime for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan or tawa over medium heat.
- Add cumin and mustard seeds; sauté until they start to pop.
- Add mixed vegetables and sauté until tender.
- Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, and salt; mix well.
- Add cooked rice and garam masala; mix everything together on high heat.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with lime.
Notes
Using day-old rice helps achieve the best texture. Adjust spices to suit your taste.
