Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes (about 2 big ones)
- 3/4 cup sugar (white or half brown)
- 1/2 cup milk (whole)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mash the sweet potatoes until smooth.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, milk, vanilla, spices, and salt; mix until just blended.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for roughly 55 minutes, until the middle is set.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Ensure to cover the pie with foil if the crust browns too quickly. Let the pie cool fully before cutting.
