- 1/2 cup (115g) high-quality semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
- Cocoa powder for dusting ramekins
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease your ramekins, dusting them with cocoa powder.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl until glossy.
- Whisk in the granulated sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and egg yolks, whisking until smooth.
- Fold in the flour gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are set but the center remains soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto plates.
