Ingredients
Scale
- 226 grams cream cheese or coconut cream
- 113 grams yogurt or additional cream cheese or coconut cream
- 130 grams powdered sugar or a sugar-free alternative
- 5 medium strawberries, hulled
- 0.25 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)
Instructions
- Allow the cream cheese to reach room temperature for optimal blending. If using coconut cream, ensure it is thick and smooth.
- Remove the stems from the strawberries. Puree the strawberries using a blender or food processor until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese or coconut cream, yogurt, powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla bean paste (if using). Blend until entirely smooth and well mixed.
- Transfer the mousse mixture into serving dishes. Refrigerate for several hours to allow it to set and thicken.
- Serve the strawberry mousse chilled, optionally garnished with a fresh strawberry or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best eaten within the first two days for optimal texture.
