A delightful and light dessert featuring creamy strawberry flavor, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 240 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 226 grams cream cheese or coconut cream
  • 113 grams yogurt or additional cream cheese or coconut cream
  • 130 grams powdered sugar or a sugar-free alternative
  • 5 medium strawberries, hulled
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Allow the cream cheese to reach room temperature for optimal blending. If using coconut cream, ensure it is thick and smooth.
  2. Remove the stems from the strawberries. Puree the strawberries using a blender or food processor until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese or coconut cream, yogurt, powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla bean paste (if using). Blend until entirely smooth and well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mousse mixture into serving dishes. Refrigerate for several hours to allow it to set and thicken.
  5. Serve the strawberry mousse chilled, optionally garnished with a fresh strawberry or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best eaten within the first two days for optimal texture.
