- 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season steak bites liberally with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove steak from skillet and let rest for 10 minutes.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Gradually stir in cream and Parmesan, mixing until smooth.
- Return steak to skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter. Perfect served over mashed potatoes or with crusty bread.
