- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 egg (optional, for binding)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and season with salt and pepper.
- Form the meat mixture into evenly sized balls, encasing a piece of mozzarella in the center of each meatball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding grated Parmesan cheese or Italian seasoning. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
