Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
- 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth it out.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the puff pastry sheet.
- Roll the pastry tightly from one edge to the other to form a log.
- Slice the log into about 1-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Best served warm with a dipping sauce like tzatziki or hummus. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
