Description
A light, refreshing, and elegant alcohol-free mocktail made with ripe pear puree and vanilla syrup, topped with sparkling water.
Ingredients

- 2 large ripe pears (about 2 cups, peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 split vanilla bean or 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups chilled sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Thin pear slices for garnish
- Fresh thyme or mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Make the vanilla simple syrup by simmering the sugar, water, and vanilla for 3-4 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup before using.
- Blend the chopped pears with lemon juice until smooth and strain through a fine mesh sieve if a silky texture is desired.
- In a pitcher, combine the pear puree, cooled vanilla syrup (to taste), and chilled sparkling water. Stir gently to preserve the bubbles.
- Serve over ice and garnish with thin pear slices and a sprig of thyme or mint.
Notes
Adjust the amount of vanilla syrup to taste, starting with a small amount and adding more if needed. Chill everything for a fizzier drink.
