Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 oz spaghetti
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and egg.
- Mix until combined, then shape into meatballs.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
- In a large pot, simmer the marinara sauce and add the browned meatballs.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Serve the spaghetti topped with meatballs and sauce, garnished with cheese and parsley.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and pasta.
