Description

Crispy homemade pasta chips that are a healthier and more customizable alternative to traditional chips.

Ingredients

  • Uncooked pasta (short shapes like bow ties or penne)
  • Olive oil (or any oil you like)
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder or smoked paprika (optional)
  • Italian seasoning or chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta until al dente, then drain well.
  2. In a bowl, toss the pasta with olive oil, cheese, and your chosen spices.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the pasta in the air fryer basket in a single layer, without crowding.
  5. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket twice for even cooking.
  6. Taste a couple for crispness; they are done when crazy crispy.

Notes

For oven-baked version: Spread the tossed pasta on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through.
