Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parmesan, and herbs until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes
