Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets and mince the garlic.
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with cornstarch.
- Cook on low for 240 minutes or high for 120 minutes.
- Add the broccoli during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve warm, drizzling with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. For a thicker sauce, mix a little more cornstarch with water before adding it to the slow cooker. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
