Ingredients

- 1 pound Fresh Mushrooms (Button or cremini, cleaned gently)
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil (Extra virgin)
- 1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (Chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (To taste)
Instructions
- Gather all necessary ingredients and tools.
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
- Trim the stems and slice larger mushrooms.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
- Add mushrooms to the bowl and toss gently to coat.
- Transfer mushrooms to an airtight container and pour remaining marinade over them.
- Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably several hours or overnight.
- Serve at room temperature or warm in a skillet before serving.
- Drizzle with remaining marinade and garnish with herbs if desired.
Notes
For more flavor, let the mushrooms marinate overnight. You can adjust seasonings as preferred.
