- Soba noodles (buckwheat or mixed)
- Water
- Sesame oil (optional)
- Soy sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Add soba noodles and cook for 150 seconds (2.5 minutes), stirring gently.
- Drain the noodles in a colander.
- Rinse the noodles under cold water for about a minute, using your hands to gently rub and separate them.
- If serving cold, chill the rinsed noodles in ice water for a couple of minutes.
- Mix with sesame oil and soy sauce if desired and serve as preferred.
Notes
Ensure to use plenty of water to avoid sticking. Wash the noodles thoroughly post-cooking to enhance texture.
