- 2 cups whole milk

Instructions
- In a saucepan, simmer the milk with cardamom and saffron.
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Soak each croissant in the milk mixture for about 30 seconds.
- Place the soaked croissants on the baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- Drizzle with sugar syrup and garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios before serving.
