  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, simmer the milk with cardamom and saffron.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Soak each croissant in the milk mixture for about 30 seconds.
  4. Place the soaked croissants on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with sugar syrup and garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios before serving.
