A delicious blend of spicy, sweet, and savory flavors featuring fresh crab in a rich, aromatic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh crab (2-3 medium-sized)
  • 2 tablespoons chili paste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crab by cleaning and cutting it into pieces.
  2. In a large wok, sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the chili paste, soy sauce, sugar, tomato puree, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine.
  4. Introduce the crab pieces to the wok, ensuring they are well coated in the sauce.
  5. Simmer until the crab is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro and lime wedges, alongside steamed buns or rice.
