- 1 lb chicken thighs, diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and chili flakes (if using).
- In another bowl, dredge diced chicken in cornstarch and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sauce mixture to the chicken and stir to coat, allowing it to bubble gently.
- Add steamed broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together until the broccoli is heated through.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
Feel free to substitute vegetables according to your preference. This dish can be made ahead of time and reheats well.
