- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a blender, combine yogurt, olive oil, basil, parsley, chives, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth to create the marinade.
- Marinate chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 1 hour, preferably 4-6 hours for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the marinade. Experiment with different herbs for varied flavors.
