- 1 pound Ground Chicken
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
- 2–3 Jalapenos (Diced)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro (Chopped)
- 1 Avocado (Ripe)
- 0.5 Lime (Juice)
- 1 pinch Salt for Guacamole
- Optional Buns or Lettuce Wraps for serving
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cilantro. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4-6 portions and shape into patties.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
- Prepare guacamole by mashing avocado with lime juice and salt in a separate bowl.
- Assemble burgers by placing patties on buns or lettuce and topping with guacamole.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
These burgers can be served with sweet potato fries or salad. Store cooked patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and consume guacamole within 1-2 days.
