A delightful white chocolate cranberry tart that’s easy to make and looks impressively fancy, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • Total Time: 130 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ready-made tart crust
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Zest of an orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: toasted pecans or sprinkle of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pre-bake the crust at 350°F for 10 minutes if it’s not already baked.
  2. In a pan, toss the cranberries with sugar and orange zest, and let them bubble until most pop.
  3. Heat heavy cream in the microwave, then pour over white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl.
  4. Stir until smooth, then mix in vanilla and a pinch of salt.
  5. Pour the white chocolate mixture into the cooled crust and gently spoon on the cranberry compote.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Before serving, optional toppings include chopped nuts or additional orange zest.

Notes

For a sweeter tart, consider swapping half the fresh cranberries for dried ones. A drizzle of melted dark chocolate on top adds flair.
