Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ready-made tart crust
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Zest of an orange
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: toasted pecans or sprinkle of sea salt
Instructions
- Pre-bake the crust at 350°F for 10 minutes if it’s not already baked.
- In a pan, toss the cranberries with sugar and orange zest, and let them bubble until most pop.
- Heat heavy cream in the microwave, then pour over white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl.
- Stir until smooth, then mix in vanilla and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture into the cooled crust and gently spoon on the cranberry compote.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
- Before serving, optional toppings include chopped nuts or additional orange zest.
Notes
For a sweeter tart, consider swapping half the fresh cranberries for dried ones. A drizzle of melted dark chocolate on top adds flair.
