- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in flour to make a paste.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Add in the cheese mixture until melted and creamy.
- Combine pasta with cheese sauce in a baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
