- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup creamy yogurt
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed pot, brown the lamb chunks over medium heat until well-seared.
- Add chopped onions, garlic, and spices; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in tomatoes and water, bringing to a simmer.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour, allowing flavors to meld.
- Serve hot, topped with creamy yogurt and garnish with cilantro.
Notes
