- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey, season with salt and pepper, and brown for 5-6 minutes until no pink remains.
- Push turkey to one side of the skillet, adding more oil if needed, and sauté sliced bell peppers and onion for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir in minced garlic, smoked paprika, and ground cumin; cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Deglaze with chicken broth, scrape up brown bits, combine everything, and simmer for 1-2 minutes to meld flavors.
Notes
