Description

A quick and flavorful Cajun shrimp dish featuring a silky butter sauce with spices and lemon.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and kosher salt.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Sear shrimp for 2 minutes per side until opaque, then remove from pan.
  4. Lower heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the pan, cooking for 30–45 seconds without browning.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan, add lemon juice and parsley, and toss to coat.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pat shrimp dry for a better sear and avoid overcrowding the pan. Can serve over pasta, rice, or in tacos.
