- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Steam the broccoli until just tender but still crunchy.
- In a large bowl, mix the steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with additional cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking. Great for leftovers and can be frozen for up to two months.
