Description

Comforting and flavorful Salisbury Steak Meatballs, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, and seasonings until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and sear on all sides until browned.
  4. Transfer the browned meatballs to a plate and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  6. Add meatballs back into the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles with gravy.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free varieties.
