Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, and seasonings until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and sear on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the browned meatballs to a plate and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
- Add meatballs back into the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles with gravy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free varieties.
