Description

Delicious sausage and cream cheese bites wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, perfect for gatherings and game day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound cooked breakfast sausage
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, with juice
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 package crescent roll dough (typically 8 oz)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and crumbly. Drain excess grease and cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and Rotel tomatoes (with juice), along with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese filling at the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll tightly toward the pointed end, sealing edges.
  5. Arrange bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with ranch dressing or salsa. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
