- 1 pound cooked breakfast sausage
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, with juice
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 package crescent roll dough (typically 8 oz)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and crumbly. Drain excess grease and cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and Rotel tomatoes (with juice), along with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
- Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese filling at the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll tightly toward the pointed end, sealing edges.
- Arrange bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
