Description

An elegant dish that combines flaky puff pastry with tender salmon, spinach, and aromatic herbs, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (dill, parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a pan until translucent.
  3. Add fresh spinach and cooked rice; stir until spinach wilts.
  4. Fold in flaked salmon and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and place the filling in the center.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
