- 1 large English cucumber
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp chopped dill
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- Flaky salt, for finishing
- Black pepper, to taste
- Herb sprigs or smoked paprika, for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and dry the cucumber, then slice it into 1/4-inch rounds.
- In a bowl, whip the Greek yogurt with dill, lemon juice, sea salt, and grated garlic; chill for 20–30 minutes.
- Pipe or spoon about 1 tsp of the herbed yogurt onto each cucumber slice.
- Finish with a pinch of flaky salt, a grind of black pepper, and a garnish.
Notes
Chill cucumbers and topping to improve texture and prevent the spread from sliding off. For best texture, assemble just before serving.
