- 1 box of red velvet cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined. Pour this mixture into the prepared springform pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake.
- Top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
