  • Total Time: 155 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined. Pour this mixture into the prepared springform pan.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
