Description
Delicious bite-sized twists on classic pumpkin pie, perfect for fall gatherings and sweet cravings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (15 oz) pure pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles.
- In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a dash of salt until well combined.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll towards the pointy end, tucking in the edges to seal.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Make sure to seal the edges of the crescent roll dough well to prevent leaks during baking. You can add more brown sugar for extra sweetness or incorporate spices like ginger or allspice for added flavor.
