Description

A delicious twist on green beans with a sweet and tangy pomegranate glaze, perfect for holiday tables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp.
  2. Prepare an ice bath and immediately transfer the blanched beans to cool.
  3. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, balsamic vinegar, honey, and salt, then simmer until thickened.
  4. Toss the cooled green beans in the pomegranate glaze.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh pomegranate seeds.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup. Adjust sweetness of glaze as desired.
