Ingredients
1 package of soft taco shells
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup of pepperoni slices
1/2 cup of pizza sauce
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or oregano for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush the taco shells with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the taco shells in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly crisped.
- Remove from the oven and spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each taco shell.
- Layer shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or oregano if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or use spicy pepperoni slices.
- You can use flour tortillas if preferred, but soft corn taco shells hold up nicely for a crispier bite.
- Customize with your favorite pizza toppings like olives, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
